Brave Like Flo is a story about wiggles, slurps and sunglasses and written by dental oral health therapist, (and Wollongong local) Phoenix Bliesner.
Going to the dentist can feel scary, but Flo shows us it doesnt have to be. A warm gentle story for little ones before their dental visit.
The story is designed to help children understand what happens during a dental visit in a calm, friendly way. It highlights the supportive role of an Oral Health Therapist whilst gently introducing sounds, tools and sensations to help children feel safe and confident.
